Cooking

The kitchen includes a four ring gas hob and a microwave oven, you will also find an amazing Penguin log burning stove with wood fired oven.  Just set the fire away about half an hour before you need to cook anything and then pop a grill pan on the top to do toast, or crumpets or saucepan for your porridge. You can use the oven to cook anything you would put in a normal oven from pizza to casseroles, lasagne or mince and dumplings etc. We also provide a slow cooker which is perfect for cooking in when the sun is shining as it will power the slow cooker all day whilst you are out so you can come back to something yummy and warm at the end of the day.  If it's a lovely sunny evening you can cook on the bbq too so you have plenty of options. Plus if you don't fancy cooking, Morpeth has an fantastic array of restaurants and takeaways to cover most tastes in food from good British pub food, to Italian, Greek, Indian, the list goes on. If you fancy a pleasant stroll out for a pub meal its just a 25 minute walk to St Mary's inn which is really good. :-)
