Ireby has a 7 night minimum (Friday to Friday)
Oak and Ash lodge have a 2 night weekend minimum and 3 night mid week minimum stay generally starting on a Friday or a Monday. Our online booking system shows you all the available arrival and departure dates.
Bookings: To make a booking please click on the availability checker for the property you wish to enquire about then select your dates and make your booking.
Prices: are in GBP, include normal usage of electricity, water and central heating - there are no hidden charges.
Book Direct - We do list our properties through a few carefully selected cottage booking agency sites however you will notice it is cheaper to book direct with us though our website as it saves us a lot in their commission fees.

Deposit: We ask for a 25% deposit at the time of booking.
Final Payment: balance is due 8 weeks (56 days) before your holiday commences. Holidays booked less than 8 weeks from the holiday dates must be paid for in full.
Payment: Our preferred payment method is by bank transfer.
Arrival times: are from 4.00 p.m. onwards and departure is by 10.00 a.m.

Travel By Bus
Arriva, Go North East & Travel Line North East
Arriva and Go North East provide excellent bus services around Northumberland with extra routes running during summer months and peak times.
The nearest bus stop to Tranwell is the '777'
Kids go free this summer with Arriva and can travel for a pound with Go North East. Single bus fares for adults have also been capped at £2 until October 2023, increasing to £2.50 until November 2024.

Northumberland Coast and Castles
Explore the Northumberland Coast and Countryside by Bus with MAX X15, X18 & X20. Arriva’s scenic X18 route runs along the Northumberland coastline from Newcastle to Berwick. It’s an ideal route for walkers heading out to the Northumberland Coast Path. Holy Island Border Buses 477 service currently operates Monday to Saturday between Berwick-upon-Tweed and Holy Island.
Morpeth and south east Northumberland to the coast
Catch Arriva’s X18 service from Newcastle to Berwick, calling at Morpeth, Alnwick, Amble and the coast, while the 418 service covers the Alnwick and Belford. The X15 travels from Newcastle to Berwick and the coast and offers great value family tickets which are transferable on all routes.
